Dear all,
I would like to ask a question which may seem a little basic. I am an IMG from Vietnam and have recently submitted two abstracts to the SMFM Pregnancy Meeting. This is my first experience with submitting to a major conference.
Could anyone share their experience on the difficulty of having an abstract accepted? Coming from a low-income country, I am uncertain whether my topics would be considered relevant to a US audience.
The topics are:
A prospective cohort study evaluating the association between lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) levels at admission and adverse obstetric outcomes.
A study on the prevalence and risk factors of persistent postpartum hypertension in women with preeclampsia.
Any advice or perspective would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

The topics seem interesting enough.. Whether they're good enough for an oral presentation depends on the data/abstract.

At minimum, it will get accepted as a poster (non presented). Conferences will basically accept anything for a non presented poster just to entice more people to come to the conference.
