Is anyone waiting until they're accepted to take a prereq?

I am right now. Do you think it is bad to wait? My top choice school hasn't accepted me yet and my course work is one anthropology course short of including all prereqs. The other schools don't require it and I can take it as an independent study course any time I want although I am looking for a short 3-4 week study abroad program for it.

Anthropology?? A prerequ course for med school? Never heard of that before.

I wouldn't wait too long if you think you will end up going there. what if they accept you August 1st? Will you have time to complete the course?
