Is applying late for private schools a myth?

Hi everyone,
So my application is fully complete and my DAT retake is December 3rd. I contacted all the private schools I am interested in like Tufts, NYU, Boston, Midwestern and explained to them about my retake. All of them told me that i would not be at a disadvantage for retaking my DAT in December. NYU even told me they accept more students after December then they do on December 1st. Can someone please verify this?

Hi I know this a late reply but I was wondering when you said that your application was complete, did you send it early & include that you were doing a DAT retake? Or did you wait until your DAT retake to submit the whole thing? Thanks in advance
