Is applying mid August too late?

I've finished the rest of my app and plan on submitting it today. I was gonna take the DAT on July 30 but I want to reschedule it to August 15, and I know they won't look at my app until they get my score. Is that considered too late or am I fine? Should I take it sooner? I have a 3.96 and realistically I think I'll get a 20/21 on the DAT

It is pretty late, but with your strong GPA and if you do well on the DAT, you shouldn't have a problem getting interviews (just expect a lot of them to come post-December) and acceptances.

I submitted in late August last year and made out fine. For someone with lower stats I think it is necessary to apply as early as possible; however with almost a 4.0 and an anticipated 20+ DAT score you won't have an issue.
