Well, Midyear is in Vegas this year, so you might be able to win back some of the money you spent at the poker tables. 😀
In all seriousness, it depends. Are you interested in residencies close to where you currently live, or do you want to move far away? If it's the former, going to Midyear will be fun but probably won't help you much - attending state/local pharmacy association meetings will be a bigger boost to your candidacy. If you want to move far away, attending Midyear would be useful in meeting those directors. Don't expect to spend a lot of time talking to any of them at Midyear, however; if you have more than 30 seconds, you're very lucky.
