I got a C in chem 2, then decided to retake it and got a D. im thinking of taking the class a third time this semester but it wouldn't really help my overall or science gpa alot. should i retake the class for the third time? is a D a passing grade? please help.

PS. i got A's in chem 1, ORGANIC 1 AND 2, and a B in analytical chem.

A D is not a passing grade.

Why on earth would you retake the first time?

LOL, technically it is a pass, but not a qualifying pass. How about that? Yeah, you didn't fail, but you didn't do well enough to move on, either.
It's like the shortbus pass😱

doesn't matter what you got in chem or ochem - medical schools don't accept a D. Your school might consider it passing, but you'll have to retake for med school...

Yeah a minimum is a C and you will most likely have to explain why you got a C during the interview.
