Program-Specific Info / Q's Is going to USC really worth it? (Masters in OT)

Will it really help in my future as an OTR? If I don't go to USC, I will go to Ithaca or UNH.

Only you have the power to decide if a school is worth it or not. I wouldn't make a decision based on a school's "ranking." You should research all of the ones you're thinking about and see which seem to align the closest with your interests. Visit if at all possible, and choose whichever one feels like the best fit for you.

It doesn't matter what school you go to. It comes down to your skills as a clinician.

If you ask online, most people will say go to the cheapest school. I might be one of the few who thinks being in debt, but going to the school of your dreams is WORTH it. I want to go to the best school possible because I know that's where I am most likely to succeed. My happiness is worth every penny. But again, that's just my opinion.

Also keep in mind that if you want to go into academia, you're probably going to need to go back for your doctorate anyway.
