hi,
my school is on the quarter system. for gchem, there is 2 quarters of studying from books and one quarter of lab. same for ochem, 2 quarters and one quarter.
Now let me tell you something about myself: I cannot stand lab. period. I despise lab. i hate lab. I cannot follow the directions "mix this with that" maybe i have ADD or somethng. but i hate lab. i would rather die than take lab.
I have taken 2 quarters of gchem and 2 quarters of ochem. so that's one year and one quarter. but i still need to take the 2 labs.
my question is
1) is there anyway around this? can i get away without lab? or lab is a must and i cannot get in without it?
2) if i have already graduated, how can i get the lab requirement done? can i take it at a JC?

Not sure about question 2 but I would definitely say yes you need lab to question 1. And trust me, many people hate lab (myself included) but it's a necessary evil.

You need it suck it up and take the classes. They are required.

Don't take required classes at a JC. It just doesn't look good.

You must take the labs and it sounds like because of how your school is set up, you have to take it at your school.
