Is intro to Biochem enough?

That should suffice, but for your own benefit, it would be good to take a class that incorporates all the major topics of Biochemistry, so that when you take your MCAT you'll be set.

I took Intro to Biochem and it didn’t help me at all for med school biochem.

Oh boi this again. Most med schools are okay with 1 semester of biochem, but there was a lot of biochem on the MCAT and I'm not sure if the intro to biochem class at your school will prepare you for that enough. At my undergrad lots of people took just the intro course and were fine, but depends on what's covered in your version.

My university had a 3cr Biochemistry that was meant to cover all of Biochemistry I and II in a condensed, less detailed form. They also offered Biochemistry I and II separately, obviously. I'm extremely happy that I decided to take I and II! It helped exponentially on the MCAT and in addition, Biochemistry turned out to be one of (if not my #1) my favorite classes! I would recommend taking I and II!!

For the MCAT they tell you that you only need biochem I. But as I've already taken the MCAT and am in biochem II right now I can tell you with 100% confidence take I and II before MCAT if you can.

The intro to biochem course at my school was very intensive and covered everything I needed and more for the Biochem section of the MCAT. Just my experience though.
