Is it a bad sign to receive masters’ program emails from schools you applied to?

Haven’t gotten any invites yet (LizzyM 73, complete throughout September) and every time I get an email from a med school I applied to I nearly get a heart attack and when I see it’s referring me to their masters’ program I die inside

That is how I felt about Feinberg and then getting emails about Northwestern’s law school. Ignore them.
Duke and Duke-NUS.
🙁

For what it's worth, one of my schools sent one of those promotional emails and then an II the next day. So I don't think they're indicative of anything.

I still get those promotional e-mails about masters programs as an MS2, haha. Many of them actually come from schools that had offered me acceptances during my cycle too, and really aren't indicative of anything.

I've gotten one from a school that already offered me a II. Also, sometimes the school will offer to cover the secondary fee in these emails so some food for thought.

It's a standard money making machine. So chill.
