Is it just me or has the AAMC registration website been down for the past week?

dunno, maybe it works on chrome but it says that it's only compatible with firefox and ie and i didn't want to risk my reigstration not going through properly. It only took 5 minutes of waiting to get back on.

Nah, I used Chrome and it still worked...
Okay I'm out, gluck to everyone else. Just wait until the damn page loads... it will!

After being on the same patience page since 9:30 this morning, and multiple attempts to get through to the system, I decided to download firefox onto my phone as the final desperate attempt to get into the system. Literally right after firefox finished downloading on my phone, my IE page finally let me register. January 26, 1 PM here I come.

Switched to Opera, and within five minutes, I was in. I just don't get how this system is supposed to work. Anyway, January 26th it is.

Finally freaking registered. That was way more stressful than it had to be- I wasn't that stressed out when I took the test in September.

been doing this crap all morning been through 3 different registration attempts where it lets me through but then crashes when i try and complete it and now im back in line....aamc should spend the next few years revamping their registration system instead of coming up with new exams.....

Okay so literally, I'm just waiting to log in and see if it actually registered me, since I got the weird January 2002 confirmation email from earlier -_-.... Wasted 3 hours today on this crap... Waiting... I want to nap 😡

I made my payment... but I didnt get any conformation and it keeps saying "We are currently processing your request" for the last 30 min's ?

I called there number and they are closed for the day which doesnt surprise me....

I feel like I'm being scammed !

Been trying since 10am est and still no luck. Partly because i've had class all day and had to interrupt the connection...

I'm sure there are a bunch of people still waiting. I got the January 2002 email as well but it seems that on the actual website it has the right date.

By the time I finally got onto the registration page, every scheduled time in my city was booked until April... 😡

I finally made it through!!!

ETA: It took 15 min. on my iPhone after the 5th try, with wifi turned off. My computer and tablet were still loading for 5hrs+ with no sign of ever getting me to the sign in page!

Lame. I've been trying since 10AM. 🙁 I've tried accessing the registration system from my desktop PC, laptop, and iPhone. I even tried three different browsers (Firefox, Internet Explorer, and Chrome). I finally got through with my iPhone, but it's been "searching" for testing sites for like 15 minutes now. Great going, AAMC. 🙄

Other people have commented that they called the center, got through, and were confirmed to have registered for 2013 rather than 2002. I'd recommend trying to log in again tomorrow since it's almost certain that you are registered without an issue and trying to get in today is going to just stress you out for no reason.

No tests available for in my area until April! 🙁

Ended up registering for 1/26/13 test out-of-state where a relative lives (and a city I used to live in). I can go a few days early and it's a 1pm test so jet lag shouldn't be too much of an issue (10am local time, heh).

i'll keep checking I registered for the sept test date a month in advance and there were plenty of seats available, my city small test center

hopefully im not let down lol

yes. spots are almost always guaranteed to open up before test...

^ Hopefully things open up again because the 1/26 test in my city is all full! 🙁 Guess no one wants to wake up early for the 1/24 test...
