I'd like to ask a question to those who work in admissions or are in administration at a medical institution:

I submitted my primary on June 14th, and became naturalized as a US Citizen on June 20th (previously permanent resident).

In my own desire to properly document my application, is it influential/necessary to inform medical schools of my naturalization, and if so, how would I go about doing so?

To my knowledge, permanent residents and citizens are treated the same during the application process. Those who are not permanent residents (i.e. on student/work visa) are at the disadvantage.

I think most secondaries also address this issue too by asking you to provide your citizenship ID number or something.
