Do adcomms normally mail out decisions the day of their meeting or the next? Also is it ok to email or call to find out about a decision (this particular school's adcomm met yesterday) if you won't be at your apartment to pick up your mail for a few days? Any ideas? 🙂

Well... I just called one of my top choice schools b/c the waiting was driving me nuts The lady on the phone was super nice 🙂 So I say call! Some schools don't mail out the acceptances until a few days after the board has made their decision.

Hey Tinkerbelle - Congrats on your UMD acceptance! I was wondering if you heard from U of R yet? I know of some people that interviewed after us that have heard back already. I haven't heard anything 🙁

Nope, I haven't heard back from Rochester either 🙁 And it'll be 8 weeks on Monday. Soooo.... perhaps we'll hear next week?

I am tempted to call, but I'm scared. But if I do, I'll PM you and tell you what they say.

I'm tempted too but am also scared! Especially since I sent them a letter of intent! I'll PM you if I hear too!

One of my schools met 11/11 and my letter was dated 11/17. So I might give it some time.

I would say use some restraint. I am also tempted to call up schools. I had formed a habit of calling schools every Monday 🙁

This week I decided to hold back. I was going crazy over Pritzker (needless to say, my first choice). So I finally emailed them 😳 They replied to me saying that my application was under review. The email was so polite that I felt guilty for making him waste his time to reply back to me.
