I received the letter of recommendation from this one professor thinking that I was going to apply last year, but I ended up not applying. So I asked this professor to resubmit the letter with updated dates for this cycle since she already wrote it last year for me. However, due to corona virus outbreak, my professor does not respond to my emails. What should I do? Do you guys think it is ok to submit the letter from last year or should I ask a different professor to get a new letter because dental schools like to see the most recent letter?

From your post, it seems like you have last year's letter with you, but you've been trying to get your professor to update it and she's not responding. You'll either have to try harder and get a response from her, or ask someone else to write you a LOR because you, the applicant, are not allowed to upload LORs, so you won't be able to submit last year's letter....

It's stored in interfolio!

I'm not sure if AADSAS is accepting letters from Interfolio anymore, so that's another thing you have to look into.
Either way, I think you should still keep trying to contact her, or find someone else to write you a letter (or both). I don't think an old letter would help you, and LORs are a pretty important part of your app.

This might seem obvious, but if you cannot get the doctor to update the date on your letter and need it to meet the required letter count for the schools you are applying to, go ahead and submit the old letter to Adsas (assuming you can’t easily obtain another letter elsewhere). Especially, since it’s a shadowing letter and your shadowing was obviously done last year. Given the current situation, I don’t think the admissions directors are expecting perfectly completed applications like in previous years. I think if anybody asks about it being dated from last year, just explain your situation.

I submitted old letters my second application cycle, but like others have said - if the professor needs to upload it ,they still need to respond. If it is already stored, and you can submit (and you are confident its good) - go for it
