i'm going to be NYC on certain day
is it okay to call NYU that i'm going to be NyC on certain day and if they can offer me an interview spot on that days?

If I remember correctly NYU will call you and invite you for an interview and you get to pick the date.

So when they call, just pick a date that works for you.

lol do you mean call them and ask them for an interview before they extend an interview invitation? i think that's jumping the gun a little bit 😉

though once they do give you an interview invite, they are very flexible with their interview days. they'll pretty much let you pick a thursday or friday that is most convenient for you, as long as it's not already full.

I thought they might mean, they already had one scheduled... It was very unclear but to reschedule you could try, but your odds are not to high.

I can change my schedule within two weeks from the date I recieved the invitation e-mail. I believe I still have a few more days. Although I am not changing my interview date.

I guess u don't have the spot for early October now for sure. (Maybe only in November possible!)

They e-mail you to invite for an interview, and then you call them to schedule your interview.

wow, I just called them to change my interview date, and they were super helpfulll! now I have NYU friday and Pitt on Monday, with a long roadtrip in between haha.

BTW they still have October days, most of them are still available, just some Fridays are full. I asked and they said they interview every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, probably because they interview more people than any other school.
