Is it okay to put that I don't like research in my work activity section?

Nevermind I didn't include it in the section. If someone would let me send it to them to see if I put what they are looking for that would be awsome!

I think you are being well-intentioned with your remarks, but I really wouldn't include "negatives" in the section. I would only write about the skills/knowledge you gained from the experience. This is mainly because you never know how people reading the application will react to the statement. It's great that you know it wouldn't be something enjoyable for you, but some things are better kept in the mind 🙂

Hello, I was doing volunteer research right before the pandemic that got cut short. While I thought it was a fun experience and I loved interacting with people and doing the things I did I could not see myself doing that as a career. The freedom to come and go on the days I wanted really made the experience enjoyable, but I absolutely would have been miserable if it was my paid employment. Should I mention that in the summary in a less intense way such as "while I enjoyed the experience of working in the lab, I learned that this type of work would not be enjoyable for me as a career"? Thanks for the advice!
It would be very foolish to volunteer negative information like this. At best, your application will not be hurt by it. You do not need to lie on your application by pretending to love research, but I would strongly recommend focusing instead on the positives: the skills you learned, the traits you demonstrated, and the insights you gained through this experience. Don't shoot yourself in the foot. This process is hard enough as it is. Just my thoughts and best of luck.
