Hi everybody,

One school that I interviewed at said they like LOIs/continued communication. I was thinking about sending one but I’m worried that if the school I’m tentatively planning to enroll at would get mad and potentially revoke my acceptance. Has this ever happened to somebody? Maybe I should just let it be with the other school

Can you name who in the school you think would get mad to do... this? An admissions committee has more significant concerns.

Vox, you seem to be everywhere on SDN constantly worrying, planning, asking about competitive residencies before you even start school, contemplating about nonissues like this. You've clearly been through a lot and you've finally been accepted, why not just take a minute to be happy and relax at this point? Maybe take a step back from SDN and escape the neuroticism? I know this is basically your personality, and some people are just worriers, but I couldn't fight the urge any longer, so that's my two cents.

Yes I think that you’re right, thanks for the advice. I’m going to log off and try not to come back until August (when I start). Focus on work, try to see some old friends before moving across the country, and maybe take a road trip. Bye for now, everybody.

Everything in balance is better. It's okay to do all of that and still check in every once in a while. Focus on the right things and keep all other things within reason and balance.

I feel like I'm gonna see another comment next week lol.
