I'm only applying to 4 D.O. schools and 1 M.D. school off-shore. I feel like adding 1 or 2 more D.O. schools. Too late today to contact AACOMAS?

I agree. You should know, however, that it will take AACOMAS (for some unknown reason) like two weeks to process the request and send it out to schools. Why did you only apply to so few schools?

Nope it is not too late. The form was on the AACOMAS web site. You will check off which schools you want to add, pay the fee and mail it in. I will say...don't start adding schools in a panic. Make sure you would go to those schools if you were accepted. And not start a war....but I would highly suggest you consider DO verses off shore MD. Be careful about what you would be getting into if you went off shore verses going DO.

As long as it's not OSUCOM, it's fine. OSU gets really really mad if you do that and they'll throw rocks at you. But everywhere else is ok.

Well, I'm applying to not that many schools because I got a really lousy MCAT score, and don't know how much it'll affect my chances. I've heard of people getting into very competitive schools with very low MCAT scores because of the rest of their application being very exceptional, or having a unique background/experience...
however, while waiting to hear back from schools I might consider re-taking the MCAT in April 2006. But I REALLLY don't want to be forced to take two years off after college!
