What I am asking is are there any schools out there (internationals included of course) that are taking apps and accepting students for anytime prior to Fall 2012?

It looks like I'll be graduating ahead of time and do not really want to take a year off.

You should have planned ahead. If you are competitive for US MD or DO schools, you should wait.

You should go for US if you can. (Although all all the schools have had their application deadline pass for for this fall.) The best you can do is be early for the coming app cycle in June, which is actually very beneficial.

I know that SGU (St George University) has a spring semester start time frame but I don't really know much about Caribbean schools.

You're in the wrong forum. But no, wait for this AMCAS cycle and take your time and put together a strong application. Do something productive in the meantime, but don't rush just for the sake of rushing.

there are any number of Carib schools that would be delighted to take your money for a earlier start. if you are at all competitive for US MD/DO however, you'd be stupid not to wait. no LCME schools are taking apps for anything sooner than Fall 2012.

no one else in here is going to say anything different. if they do, they are wrong. get a job. travel. do something cool and unexpected. and oh yeah, if you have all this time, be sure to submit AMCAS nice and early 😀

You got your answer: yes, it's too late to apply in the US to matriculate ANYWHERE this coming school year.

You're remaining option is carribean, which you should not go to for the sake of expedience, but only out of necessity (or desperation)

This is it. Ross has three different start dates, if you really want to go that route. If you want to stay in the states, the best you'll do is joining the class of 2016.
