I was wondering if BU,NYU,TUFTS,HOWARD still sending out interviews for this cycle. Lately all I read is about Accepatance/Rejections threads.
Is it too late to be called for an interview from BU/NYU/HOWARD/TUFTS???

Hey, i am wondering the same exact thing...still waiting for any info from these 4 schools...i called them but all i hear is "under review"....not sure whether its good or bad cause under review means not rejected yet... still hoping...
BU's class was 2/3 as of middle of Feb. Had several interviews until end of Feb.
I have been told NYU interviews past April.
Tufts, I am guessing the class is pretty full. I am not expecting much from them... 🙁

FWIW... BU's last interview group was around mid March last year. They usually send out interview invites 2-3 weeks before the interview date. So I would say that if you don't get an invite by the end of next week, then I would really worry.

Ive given up for this cycle.
Even up until 2 weeks ago, I was hoping Id hear back from NYU/BU/Tufts.
However, now Iv just decided to move on and start to prepare a new darn application for this summer. Im almost less concerned with waiting another year than I am about having to go through another monstrous AADSAS application and a new personal statement.

Personal statement should be redone for the most part. there can be some recycling of material, but you really should have more to say considering a whole new year went past.
Why does everybody believe you have to completely change your personal statement? I mean, yeah you can maybe spruce it up a bit by cutting off some of the fat but you don't need to completely renovate it. Dental schools WILL NOT COMPARE YOUR OLD PERSONAL STATEMENTS TO YOUR NEW ONE. They will not bring up during an interview, "So we've noticed that you didn't update your personal statement." If you are happy with your PS and you believe it conveys what you want to get across effectively, then keep it.
I think the main mistake everybody makes with the PS is making it too long. Be concise and quick to the point. Remember that schools are reading thousands of these. If you draw it out, you will bore the person reading it and he will just skip to the next one.

i would redo it completely... i was at an interview where the interviewer had my complete app for last year... he asked me why i applied to a specific school which threw me by surprise because I had applied there in the last cycle... and someone on the admissions committee told me directly that they have access to last years files, so if they see the same thing they could take it as you're not doing anything to change your file for this year...

What is the dental school you're talking about rrpnow?
You think they keep your file from last cycle and compare with this cycle?
"Oh, you didn't change this, change that, blah blah blah".
I doubt it. 🙂
The ad.coms have no time for that.
