So.... my AMCAS was deemed verified as of yesterday. When I first submitted it, I only added on school, but I did not assign letters. However, I did add letters into the LOR section so AMCAS would know which letters to expect. I just noticed that I misspelled the first name of my pre-health committee chair (Alexis instead of Alexa)... what should I do? Since no schools have been assigned letters yet, and since I haven't requested the letter to be sent to AMCAS (was going to get it uploaded tomorrow) , is it safe to cancel the letter on AMCAS, then re-add it with the correct spelling? Or should I just leave it as is?

Nothing a call to AMCAS can't fix... Once you submit I don't know if you can remove letters or not. I know of someone else who did this, and she ended up having to call them to get it all sorted out. It ended up being ok.
