For those who have used Firecracker, is it too late to begin using FC during winterbreak for a late-May/early-June Step I test date.

I think you can can use it to bank subjects you feel that you need to improve in. Personally, I think it's a time-sink and would not begin it at this point. I plan on taking Step 1 around your date and am looking forward to transitioning from FC to banks + FA.

OP, I probably wouldn't bother. UWorld + FA would be a superior study strategy over break and in 4th semester. I'll be doing the same thing as the guy above is, transitioning from FC to UWorld+FA, in the next few months.

Don't do it. I use FK and like it, but the utility of starting at that point is low. You'd be much better served just going through FA and qbanks. The details of why this is probably a bad idea could be found in one of the Firecracker threads in the step I sub-forum.
