I am wondering if it is too late for me to apply to med school this year. I have already sent in my transcripts and my letters of reccomendation are complete but I have not yet submitted my AMCAS. If anybody has any info about this, please let me know.

If you haven't already, see the "Who out there has still not submitted their AMCAS?" thread. Because of the huge screw-ups by AMCAS this year, and the fact that they're sending unverified paper copies of applicantions submitted after 8/10, while working on verifications of those who submitted before that date, I don't think you're at a huge disadvantage by submitting now. It's still months before most of the schools' application deadlines. Good luck.
