(Senior in university). At this point, I'm going to need a 4.0 in every science course. Is it a realistic goal if I do the more condensed route?
Option 1: Take DAT summer 2015. Less time for me to focus on volunteering (have nothing now)/GPA boosting. Chem 1/2 this summer. Squeeze in organic chem/physics this coming Fall and Spring. Not sure if I'd be able to work in any medical field while doing this plan but maybe I'm wrong?
Option 2: Take DAT summer 2016. Not as rushed so more "free time" for working/volunteering/GPA boosting. This summer I would focus on getting an EMT (CC course full though so not sure if I can) certification and volunteering/shadowing. In the Fall and Spring do chem 1/2 + A&P. Either take physics or organic chem in summer of 2015 and then finish up the remaining the pre-reqs in the Fall and Spring. Would be an old man in 2017 (1 year older than average matriculated age 😎)
