Hey guys, I'm in the process of cleaning out boxes before I move out for school and I was just wondering if it is useful to keep old notes from undergrad? I have lots of notes for gen chem, o chem, physics, and tons of bio classes, and I'm not sure if it is worth it to move them with me, or better to just recycle. Thanks!

There were a couple times during the biochem/genetics portion of my curriculum that I wished I had my MCAT review books since they break it down really nicely. Other than that, I've never felt like undergrad notes would help.
Thank you for your input! I still have my MCAT books so I can take those along.

personally, no. throw them out

Yeah, I agree with the others. You don't need the MCAT books. I just personally thought they presented material nicer than my school lectures and would have been a nice refresher, but you certainly don't need them.

i'd say keep your mcat books (at least the biology, biochemistry, and psych/sociology ones). i found they explained topics way simpler and in better contexts than pretentious professors... and such basic sciences will fill the first few years of many of our med school classes.

otherwise, celebrate being done with those milestones in a masterful burning/purging ceremony of sorts.

i highly recommend viking funerals for unused and unwanted material
