Is Kaplan's path a good source?

I have an online subscription with kaplan and I'm wondering if I should watch the kaplan videos for path. I know RR and recently pathoma are getting all the attention but has anybody used kaplan's path only and found it enough for step 1?
I would turn to RR or pathoma but I paid for kaplan already so should I stick with it's path section or spend more money on RR or pathoma? Thanks.

no! i would say unless you had been reading Robbins or something during your classes, Kaplan Path is not a good source at all.

Pathoma book is the same "size" as kaplan, at least the books that I have, so Its more worth ur time to get Pathoma.

BUT if you have time I would say do RR path. Its not a book for everyone though for some reason lol. I tried reading that book so many times it didnt work for me.

me personally....i LOVED kaplan path book with the videos done by barone. I don't know why people say use RR path....I feel like that book is a monster and has so many extra stuff than first aid. I'm sure it's all important, but as for step 1, first aid with kaplan path is good...but then again, thats just my opinion

I hated Goljan. I think his snickering little voice and terrible jokes sucked. I sued Barrone. Sweet, douchebag barrone. I got a 252.

That being said, my buddy did exactly the same thing I did AND did the goljan audio. he got a 264. So...maybe there is something to Goljan. Or maybe my friend is just smarter than I am.

Also, if you get any of this stuff, get it legit. Pay for the videos. Stealing is illegal.

I indirectly paid for Kaplan's online prep since our school requires us to take it (ie. my tuition paid for it). So the books were shipped to our school's office and we had to pick it up from there.

But from Kaplan's description about it's online prep it says "OnlinePrep includes a diagnostic test, 9 subject-based assessment tests, a full-length Simulated Exam and a 7 volume set of our high-yield Step 1 Lecture Notes." So I guess it comes with it when you purchase it.

Going back to what I asked I think I will do Kaplan's path and then hopefully that will help me get through Goljan less painfully.

The images in Goljan RR are very high yield so at the very least make sure to give them a look over. I found the Kaplan 2010 patho vids to be highly irritating - the guy must say the words "very important" well over a 1000 times. Goljan as a book otherwise might be too much to do for review, it's really a book that's best used while going through the course.

Im glad you read the post. Im glad you do not perseverate on only one thing, ignoring the rest. Im glad you believe that blanket statements suggesting that people do things legally are inappropriate.

OMG if I have to read one more time about this OveractiveBrain guy policing about how illegal it is to "steal" kaplan I may have to ask him why his mommy was so strict with him growing up.

We understand stealing is bad, our mommys taught us that too so you dont need to "spread the word" on EVERY kaplan thread.
