Is matriculation agreement binding

I was accepted to few DO medical schools and paid the deposit but waitlisted on few other schools I am more interested in.

Is signing matriculation agreement binding to the one of the accepted medical school.

Can I change the medical school once I come off from one of the waitlists from other schools.
