Hey All,
I'm taking the NBDE part 2 exam on July 11th and 12th. Two of my friends had offered to lend me their Decks, but the first one flaked out and now the second one is being forced to delay to an unspecified date (so - not sure if that will work out either). I have been studying from Mosby's exclusively. An upperclassman had told me that this would probably be enough to do alright with, but now I'm getting worried. After only studying pictures and tables, I got a 69% on the sample exam in the back of the book. Since then I've been going back and reviewing the sections in full and then taking the section quizzes at the end. I usually get in the 80%s in those. Are the questions in the book easier than in the actual exam? Am I screwing myself over by not studying from additional sources? Also, Mosby's does not have anything to study for the Case Studies section. Any recommendations? I don't want to have to spend hundreds of dollars this late in the game.
To be clear, I'm not gunning for Ortho, here. I am applying to GPRs this summer, but it wouldn't be the end of the world if I didn't get in. I'm hoping for an 80+ comp score. Last year I got a 85 on the Part 1, but I studied for 3 and a half weeks then and I'm only studying 2 and a half weeks now.
