I don't think so. I've considered Nsurg for a while now as a possible specialty and have come to the conclusion that I can easily have fun with friends/go out clubbing/get laid while being a neurosurgeon.
Neurosurgeons are some of the most narcissistic fellows of the medical world. They obsess over themselves through their accomplishments and their consistent reminders to others as to how 'hard' their job is and how long over-time they stayed at the hospital the night before.
That is just it. They attempt to dissuade others from being neurosurgeons because in their eyes they see the job as too hard for the general medical populous to handle when in actuality it really isn't much harder than any other surgical specialty.
I plan on becoming a Nsurg and having a pretty rad life.
