is one week ample time to ace a physics exam?

so far, I only understand 20 % of the stuff right now. I guess it gets kind of frustrating when you have to play 'catch- up' from here on out till the next week. any advice? I'm not sure if ya'll would call this "cramming" but it sure feels like that to me, because I haven't been keeping up.

😆 😆 😆

You're so naive, my friend.:meanie:

If you're not a dolt.

It probably is, but in my experience people who tend not to study every day and put things off until a week before an exam demonstrate the same behavior during most of that week and don't end up studying as much as they need to do well.

Are you sure the same reasons that prevented you from studying up until now wont prevent you from doing what you need to do in the upcoming week?

You can do it! 👍

/all night long🙄

dude, one NIGHT is enough to ace a physics exam. well, perhaps not ace, but certainly do well above average, thereby giving you an A if you're in a curved class.

I've got one week until a physics exam... and I plan to ace the hell out of it.

My non-calc-based physics class allowed you to bring a notecard with formulas into each exam... I aced everything, but got through the semester without learning a thing. (Physics doesn't really make me warm and fuzzy the way ochem does, though... So interest probably had something to do with it.) Regardless, I PRAYED for a decent MCAT physical sciences score.

If you can bring notes in (which I would NEVER allow as an instructor, for the whole "not learning stuff" reason, but is awesome when you are a stressed student) you will be fine.

I find two nights to be best, three nights at most. Do your reading and practice on the first night, and just practice more and go over weakpoints and the next night, bam take the test.

I loved physics! But I had to pull an all-nighter every Thursday night to prepare for the Friday morning quizzes. Ah, the memories...

Do all the problems and go over your notes and you're good🙂

Force = mass * acceleration.

Except when it doesn't.

Newtonian mechanics only apply to about 4% of the universe.

And our constants may not be constant in every universe.

Have fun! 🙂
