I am an international medical graduate from central america, I came to the U.S and passed all the USMLE steps, currently I'm working in clinical research under a work visa in the US, I will be trying to get into internal medicine residency next year, but my family live in Australia (permanent residents) and I will like to do residency over there instead. Is it possible for me to apply for an Australian IM residency position with my USMLE steps to avoid taking the Australian medical council exams? Thanks.
