I got TS18 AA19 on my first DAT. I am going to retake it, but is retake all good? What if I did worse on the second time, will it hurt more than not retaking it? What if I got the same score on the second time, isn't that shows "This student can't improve even after another 3 months study"?

I'm pretty sure that the statistics show that most people don't do better their second try, Doc has the numbers in his signature. Your numbers seem to be good enough to be competitive at most schools as long as you have at least a 3.4, but I'd need to see the individual breakdowns of your scores. If you got anything below 17, I would HIGHLY advise retaking, but if you got 18's, you're good.

Though it's clearly not GOOD to have a 16 in QR, QR is one of the sections where dental schools give a LOT of leeway. That said, there are 164 people on predents.com with a 16 or less in QR and were accepted to dental school this year.

How does that go for Verbal Reasoning??
I got a 17 on Verbal Reasoning and a 17 on Quantitative Reasoning...

Well here's what I got...
Bio19/Chem25/Ochem23/PAT20/RC17/QR17
Total Sciences: 21
Academic Average: 20

Hmm... there are 26 people on predents who got in with 17's or less in both Reading Comp and Qr, so it's a lot less likely. Even though your other scores are pretty high, I think I might suggest retaking if you think you can get better scores in RC atleast. Some schools rank RC as extremely important, and a low RC score can make it hard to get in. What is your GPA? For a really definitive answer, just give a call to the schools you're interested in, they'll be honest.

Why the big difference in reading/QR? Did you not spend a lot of time studying those in comparison to the rest of your studying?

My GPA is 3.27 overall, and 3.27 science...
And no, I spent most of my time studying for the sciences and not too much on the others...
