is submitting AACOMAS app by the 16 late??? i havent been able to finalize my personal statement and was just wondering if i was hurting my chances by sending out by the 16...THANKS ALL

No. From what I hear, if you have your application in by the end of June, you are still early. Either way, I hear the medical schools don't get the applications until early July anyways. Can anyone confirm this?

One person said that the AACOMAS may be sending out the first batch of apps to schools next week. However, if you get them in before July it's still early. I think some schools don't start looking at apps until July and some do. I don't know which.

Still pretty early.

I submitted in July and was complete in Aug (they lost my transcripts) and had my interviews in October and November.

I love these questions.

People submit their apps on Feb. 1st and get accepted. I would say submitting after Sept. 1st is "late" at the very earliest.

According to the AACOMAS people, the first batch of applications will hopefully be sent out sometime next week, so you're still early in the game.

Haha

I sent my apps in december then added a school in january. I got an interview at all of the schools and was accepted to all but 1 where I was waitlisted. I bet only about 0.5% of applicants have submitted as of this point.
