Are all interview invites to people with 20+ on DAT? It looks like it from SDN and fb. Do people with 19AA and 19TS still have a chance?

there are thousands of other students who are invited for interview who choose not to post here on SDN and facebook.

Nope. A friend of mine has a 19AA/19TS (none below 18) and has two interviews! Also, I looked through the interview thread, and this person had a 19/18, this person had a 19/20 but a low subsection score, this person and this one both had a 20/19, this person and this person both had a 19/19, and this person had an 18/20 with two low subsection scores, yet alllllll of these people received at least one interview, if not more!

It took a long time to find those, but they are there! Don't lose hope just yet! Good luck 🙂

PS: The average AA for applicants that matriculate into dental school is about 20.4 (as of 2016). This is not necessarily the average of those that interview nor get accepted.

SDN is not representative of all pre-dents.

According to AADSAS the average DAT score is around an 18. While the average for matriculation is around a 20.

i still get nervous when i see a wave of sdners get interviews, w/ DAT scores averaging 28 lol
