Is the Kaplan Live Online Course worth it?

So after lurking around, it seems that people either found it benificial or a complete waste of time and money. I'm thinking about getting the live online course where you meet 2x a week for 3 hours with a live instructor in a class room ish screen but I keep asking myself its worth all that $. Can someone chime in on this??? Please!

I got the kaplan blue book, not sure about the live online course. But the blue book was pretty bad (especially since it costs $1000 I believe along with the course).

@Eefjin I know, I've heard from A LOT of people that the blue book was eh along with that specific course. I'm just still wondering about the live online course that meets two times a week for 3 hours. I saw a demo of it and it "seems" helpful but im still unsure.

NOT WORTH IT AT ALL in my opinion. There are many better resources for a fraction of the price.

not worth it. for the money they charge. BOOTCAMP and some review books are way better. and cheaper.

@mOlar1! You took the online live course and it wasn't beneficial at all? Even with homework and quizzes and the live teaching? Was it not in depth as you thought it would be?

I just finished the Kaplan course. I did the live online, and I think it wasn't the best resource.

My biggest issue was the explanations on problems you miss, especially in the chemistry sections. Bootcamp has a video explanation for nearly every problem which IMO is the best thing out there.

I would sign up for their free practice exam if you've never taken a full-length DAT before, but their course is not worth it. The corporate body of Kaplan are clueless when it comes to DAT strategies and material, and pay their instructors low hourlies. There are plenty of other reliable resources around.

Thanks everyone for letting me know! I think I'm just going to renew my chads subscription since i have destroyer/cliffs/TY Jacobs notes and rely on those
