I'm planning on taking the MCAT in August or September and I was thinking about taking the Princeton ultimate 123 hour course. Is it reasonable to take that course while also studying every day on my own in the summer?

Also, since the MCAT has changed quite a bit is the SN2ed guide helpful with the book recommendations? Are there any new study plans out for the new MCAT? The old ones that I've found don't help as much anymore because the length of the test has also increased so it messes up the schedules from all of the old guides.

The SN2ed schedule is still effective in my opinion. I've been using a modified version I made myself, but it has the same principle of content review + practice followed by full lengths. I see it as more of a guide than a rigorous schedule (don't tell anyone I said that).

I couldn't justify spending the large sum of money on a prep course for an exam none of the teachers have actually seen nor taken. It's just not worth it in my opinion.

I am taking the course. I had a particularly good tax return this year and I figure anything that will give me a slight edge is worth it. Unfortunately I don't know if anyone can comment whether it's worth it. If you can afford it and you don't have a dedicated, smart/hardworking group to study with, it may be worth it. If you feel like you study better alone or have a good group, then you probably don't need it. I honestly feel like I dont need this class, but I feel like could help. Therefore it's worth it.
