So, I take Step 1 tomorrow! yay! Finally get it over with....

However, last night (Tuesday) while watching the Pistons game, it was storming outside my apt. I hear a loud BANG!!!....my cable flashes on and off, I walk in my room and my computer screen has this funny purple color to it. I'm like...okay..so I look outside my bedroom window at the building across the parking lot...AND THERE ARE FLAMES COMING OUT THE ROOF!!!
I dial 911 and run down there to help people get the heck away and out.

I was up until 2 AM outside watching a fire get extinguised in the building next to mine. I finally got out of there and went home to my parents house to sleep because I knew I would never get any sleep with fire trucks and all that crap going on around my apt. I didn't sleep good anyway, just kept thinking how it could have been me that lost their apartment!

Then I realize today the power surge that went through the cable fried my cable modem and my LAN card. So, my computer is in Best Buy to be fixed, it may not be done for 2 weeks-1 month!! 🙁

I also realize today that the driver's side headlight on my car is VERY dim, I tried changing the bulb, no go. So, my car goes into the shop Monday to get fixed......

Can you think of any more of a messed up day possible just before the boards? I didnt' study enough today because of all of this....I hope my qbank average is a good enough sign I'll be okay on Step 1 tomorrow.

I still know everything will work out..but I wanted to share my experience today.

Wow. Hopefully you are getting all of your bad luck out of the way right now.

I'm afraid your exam experience is just going to be "ordinary" now. oh well

A friend of mine had his computer crash half way thru the actual step 1 test. He is worried that his answers may have gotten screwed up.
