I absolutely LOVE my PCP, I've had him all my life. He always seems so cheerful and upbeat, and he has great communication skills. Even though he sometimes has to rush through sessions, he makes it go by smoothly. I know a guy who's an architect for hospitals who comes in contact with a lot of doctors, and he told me that most of the doctors he encounters have terrible conversation skills and suck at communicating. My doctor is the complete opposite. I would love to be just like my PCP, I would like for my patients to feel about me the same way I feel about him.

So, are there any doctors that you want to be like?

Dr. Siddhartha Mukherjee
Dr. Sanduk Ruit

I think that you are in love with your doctor.

Dr. Drew, so that I can yell at billionaire heirs who are addicted to heroine and take their money by saying they need more rehab. bwahahaha

👍

The general surgeon I shadowed had Earth, Wind, and Fire playing in the OR. He says hi to *everyone* in the hospital, is pretty damn humble, and when I returned his pages for him he told me to ask 'em what's cookin?

It makes a ten hour day fly by when you're around happy people.

Several of the doctors that I work with in the ER I admire a lot. I also admire immensly one of the physicians at U of M that treated me when I was sick (Dr. Chames). All the residents were also pretty cool. I'd love to be even half of what those people are like.

My grandmother. She was an internist. She lived with my family and it's from growing up with her that I always wanted to be a doctor.

👍👍👍👍👍

Dr. Doogie Howser. Who else?

The fictional character or the real one that the show was based off of. I was taught anatomy & physio I many years by the real one and he was actually a DO. The show was wrong in calling Doogie an MD. 😉 He also stopped practicing and now teaches at a community college.

This is kind of a silly answer, but she is a blogger. http://annies-eats.net/about-annie/

She's a resident (I could swear at some point I heard she's in a radiology residency), so extra points there, for busting her hump in medical school), who is apparently an excellent manager of time as she has this extensive blog (the food is awesome), and seems a very attentive wife and mother (her son is close to my daughter's age). I love to cook/bake and my family is really important to me so I admire her quite a bit.

Dr. Pepper. 23 flavors all the way.

In all seriousness though there is an interventional cardiologist at the hospital I work at who is just the man. Great personality, great hands the whole package.

Instead of being a doctor I'll stay at a Holiday Inn Express.
