I wanted to know if any body has interviewed at pitt dental. Heard that they make you write a essay. Wondering what topic is the essay based on?

yes they do make you write an essay. they have 3 days of interviews and they give different essays at each interview. im pretty sure its just to make sure you are competent in writing so that they are sure you are the one that wrote your personal statement, etc. i believe my topic was naming 2 people id like to meet or who are my heroes or something like that and they couldnt be family members. its not a big deal, good luck!!

probably something about law school, yeah, law school! I would buff up on your LSAT questions for your PITT interview.

1. Why dentistry?
2. What would make you a good dentist?
3. A Jihad terrorist with an abscessed fistula comes in to your office, do you treat him before you call the police or after, or do you refer him to a specialist and let him decide?
4. How do you treat a child vs. a grandma?

all very easy to answer.
