seems like no matter what i read, i get the same stinkin low score.
what are you supposed to do?

how the hell are people starting from 50%'s, and then ending in the high 70's??

did you get a sprinkle of fairy dust?

did you read a book? what did you do?????????????

i feel like dropping everything else and just reading UW, since nothing else seems to help. 👎thumbdown

I would say to keep doing your reading - the usual, focus on what you're weak at and learn those topics, but the way to get your score to move is to figure out why you're getting questions wrong. Are you thinking about the answers incorrectly, or do you not know enough information yet. If it's the latter, that's easy to fix. I had some success though with the former - I was often getting the diagnosis, but jumping too far ahead in management and the like. Personally, I realized I wasn't thinking about all the answer choices, but was choosing one too quickly. Working on that really helped my scores.

I improved my scores in many ways. First of all, i simply got used to reading the long questions without getting bored. At first its daunting but then you get comfortable with it. Try to consistently fix an answer in your head before looking at the answer choices (this helped me a great deal). If you have some time, ask yourself what the distractors might be in the stem (it will help you avoid the wrong answer choices). Overtime, my approach to each question became more consistent. One such example: I began highlighting very important pieces of information on each every question to provide me with a focus in case I happen to lose my train of thought.
I know there is alot of information to learn and rel-learn from the review guides, however solid test taking skills are about half of the equation.

If you must have a review guide to look over again, I would recommend step 1and step 2 secrets and crush step 2. These are probably the only books I read completely in my third year.
