does anyone find it impossible to open up other applications like a word document when the java UW step I is up?
I just want to keep a file of things to go over and notes about things I got wrong.
UW has some thing set up so you can't even write in word, notepad, or anything?
does anyone know whats up here? any suggestions would be great, I'm sure this is a problem for many people?

I've found that when I run two monitors, I can do whatever I want in the second. Unfortunately it doesn't sound like you're doing that.

I always thought they did that on purpose so you didn't copy/paste all their questions into Word or any other program like that.

I think that's probably it. You can't copy and paste while using UW anyway, but I suppose if you had the windows open side by side, you could type a question into a word document. You could take notes on paper of course, or in an e-mail to yourself.

id recommend downloading yodm3. Essentially it gives you 4 rotating desktops at the click of cnrtl+shift, and doesnt require extra memory. I think its only available for windows. besides allowing you to overcome this problem it looks really cool! dont have the link now but will post when if i come across it, but do a search
