my letter writer said that they signed it electronically. they went on adobe acrobat and chose the e-sign option and typed their name which generated a photo and they copy pasted that to the google doc which contained my letter of recommendation, so it would look something like this;

obviously candice bandice is not the name of my letter writer i am just using an example as to how that would have looked like.

will medical schools accept this signature??

also i am applying early decision to a particular school and this school announce all early decision interview invites on aug 15. lets say that by the off chance that they do not accept e signatures and they want a hand written signature or something, but my letter writer doesn't respond until after august 15,

will that be an automatic rejection for me? or will they still use that letter of recommendation anyways

(i hope my question makes sense)

Your neurotic behavior. It's extra, even for SDN.
i honestly didnt even care about this whole thing until the guys at interfolio told me that the letter of rec didn't pass their quality check because of the signature so that lowkey tripped me up.
