So currently, I am waitlisted or deferred decision at many of my schools. I want to send update letters to help my chances, but I wanted to know if I have enough content to make it a good letter.
Updates:
-continuing my volunteer activity once a week (prefer not to go into detail because it will make me identifiable)
-third author on a national scientific abstract (poster)
-first author on a national scientific abstract (oral presentation hopefully, but possibly a poster).
-travel grant to the meeting
I will most likely publish my findings before July, but this is probably too late for an update and I might have to do a lot of revisions.
Is what I have at the moment enough or should I try to publish before I submit an update letter?
