I was told by my cousin that supposedly goes to USP to party that USP is a major party school. Is it?
i meant that she goes to USP to party all the time. that is what she told me but then she just told me she doesn't party that much so i don't know.
Honestly speaking, isn't every college a party school? No parents which means those type of people will party.
Maybe almost. I know some schools that have fairly strict rules compared to where most people go.

Depends really on the size of the school and the student population. The college I went to in northern NJ was pretty small and a majority of the student population commuted to school rather than live on campus..hence no real party atmosphere.
Who the hell cares. You're supposed to be going there to learn anyways.🙄
I don't see what the big whoohah is all about when it comes to whether a school is a "party school" or not. Is that the determining factor for you, OP? I would think that's why we have clubs and whatnot.![]()
Assuming you're serious... why can't the social life/atmosphere be a factor in one's school decision?
It can. Just not the most important factor. Once you're done with school, it won't matter how many parties you went to or what crazy nights you had.
Friends you make will remember what kind of a person you are, and not what all you did while hanging out.
Yes, but you'll remember those parties/nights for the rest of your life.
I was having a discussion about this today with a Jefferson student. The plus of a 0-6 program is that you're done after 6 years, no PCAT, etc... However, the negative is that it's a pretty rigorous program, with no real undergrad, and there's really not much time to have fun. I guess the same could be said about the CC to PharmD route. I've had a pretty boring 5 years so far, and now what, moving home for rotations where I'll be even more bored 🙁

then i think of all the stuff i did/experienced/gained in 4yrs of undergrad and, given another chance, i'd do the exact same thing all over again.
This x1000
I actually addressed in my personal statement how fortunate I feel that Pharmacy didn't dawn on me until midway through my junior year of undergrad. If I hadn't fallen on my face so many times balancing my academics and my social life I wouldn't nearly be as prepared for a professional program as I am today.
Partying wasn't anywhere near the top of my list when deciding on schools to apply to, but it's comforting to know I can go out and have fun on the town if I want to.
Besides, you learn important life skills like...how to jump a balcony and hide in the bushes when cops show up at your party in LA and you're underage.
...then you learn how stupid that is and you just play cool and follow the herd out to the next party.
Oh #1 life tip learned = pre-partying is essential to your wallet, only buy drinks at the bar for girls; otherwise, $8 for a drink is stupid.
The OP of this thread is like...15 years old, right? Stop corrupting our youth with your advice, dude!😛

If it's not in Wisconsin, it's not a party school. Truth. 👎
*Yawn* Amateurs.
Your craziest nights are our typical Thursdays!
I don't have time for this.
Our students tipped over an ambulance carrying an injured Pitt player.

Lulz. Most parties are the same anyway...keg, drinking games, people making out, people puking, people getting laid, cops may or may not come... Meh. Gets old. I don't see why it matters what school has the best parties anyway. At least at annual the odds of having a good convo with a smart individual while "partying" are better.
This is an average party. yes. And then there are parties like the Mifflin Street Block Party. So epic, it has it's own wiki page.
EDIT: I will stop now as I am adding no substance to a substanceless thread.
Stop being a bunch of grannies! 😛 And yes, we measure our junk on the daily.
I have no doubt that you do. And how many mm are we talking about anyway? Do I need my magnifying glass?
Did I hit a nerve? I can't tell.
Eh, what?
OMG we're so awesome we're the biggest party animals ever we PWN your parties! RAWK!!! 🙄
Is this the new junk measuring thread?
I think you may have seemed annoyed by his post in that reply.

The very first time I drank, the cops showed up. I'd rather not say how old I was, but I was well underage 😳 I ended up "hiding" in the bathroom until I realized it was a terrible hiding place anyway![]()
Pre-partying = 👍
This post is just full of win.
I was at a party once, near the local university. You would probably know the location should I describe it. Anyway, it was kind of wild. People passed out in the yard, all of the bathrooms in all the apartments were clogged or full of people yakking or sleeping in the bathtub. So guys were outside peeing in the bushes and the ONE person in the complex who wasn't a student got mad and called the police. When they got there, she demanded they take urine samples from all the men at the party for DNA analysis of the pee in her bushes.
I had to hide my boyfriend in the back of his truck because he was so drunk he could hardly stand and he'd peed all over himself and was wearing a Winnie the Poo party hat and refused to take it off. I pushed him in there, closed the tailgate and told him to be quiet and stay away from the camper windows while the cops were there.
That was a LONG time ago. It's funny now, but nothing I'd want to relive!
