I decided to wait and take the MCAT until August. I was just wondering if this is going to decrease my chances of acceptances at any of the osteopathic schools considering the majority of the schools are all on a rolling basis.

i hate to say it but yes it probably will decrease your chances. It is always better to apply early no matter what. I know its not fair but thtas just the way it is i guess

d-,

Don't sweat it. Just make sure that you submit your AACOMAS ASAP so that all they need is your MCAT scores. I did that. Sent my AACOMAS in last June and took the August MCAT and got accepted to several schools. So you have nothing to worry.

Also, make sure that you write on admission ticket the AACOMAS number. Your score is not automatically sent like to AMCAS. Good luck.

Not to worry! I took the Aug MCAT, got my Primary apps in by October and my Secondary apps by the end of November. I received a number of interviews and acceptances (no, my grades were not the most spectacular).

Good luck!

Kat 🙂

i was just wondering where both of you interviewed at, if you don't mind me asking?
