I work at a medical practice during the day. A person asked the daughter of one of the doctors that work in the medical practice: "Is your dad ever home." The reply was: "Not often. Once in a great while he is, but not often."
There is a lot to think about in that question and answer for those of you that want to become doctors. Now, I didn't say you shouldn't become a doctor because you will be busy. I am simply pointing out that you will be working for a good 40 years devoting your life to the field you match into. Some will love the work, some will end up hating slaving away long hourly weeks and want out, and some will take the money and retire early.
