It seems like Tufts is sending invites on Tuesdays?

Last Tuesday was their first round. I just got my invite a few minutes ago so it seems like they're sending them out once a week?!

Let us know if anyone else got one today!!
 
Congrats! I won't hold my breath on the interview...but now I will check my inbox even more anxiously every Tuesday haha.

Damn, I still haven't heard back from them... Their twitter hasn't updated since last tuesday though.
 
did anyone else get a Tufts workshop email from the admissions director last week?
 
I just got a Tufts interview today! Does everyone's email say you can only call on Wed Oct 17?

Also, the dates available for me are terrible, does anyone know if they offer interviews on days OTHER than Mondays and Tuesdays? All they gave me was Nov 19, 20, 26, or 27.
 
Mine also says we can't call until tomorrow.
 
ahh come on Tufts! still nothing yet, second batcher here.
 
My invite also says don't call until tomorrow. They probably don't want to be inundated by people calling all at once or something.

I'm not sure if they do it by batch order... but I also got an interview invite from Tufts today and myself, NDpitch, and sal are all in the 8th batch. I'm kind of nervous with the whole "You should anticipate challenging questions" statement, lol 😱.

It's crazy how we're the second group of interview invites and the dates that they offered are already right near the december 3rd deadline. Either there's going to be a ton of people at the interviews (in order for them to interview enough people for Dec. 3rd) or they won't be accepting too many people by dec. 3rd... no?

I hope that they meet right after our interviews to decide because I don't want to wait! I wonder what the first interview date they offered to people last week was? I think they're waiting until November to start interviewing.

That email was a little harsh haha, bring on these challenging questions...

At any rate, I'm from MA, and if I remember correctly, Tufts interviewed something like 52 people last cycle from MA, and offered acceptances to something like 47??? Hopefully that type of thing pans out this year as well.

It seems that tufts isnt sending me an interview on tuesdays. Thats wat it seems like to me....boo
 
I'm from MA! still anxiously waiting. It's my top school and I was in the first batch with above average stats. :-\

Tufts has 80%+ acceptance rates of MA interviewees every cycle. They interview MA residents to accept.
 
Tufts historically does things later than all the other schools. Expect to see most interview dates in January and February. I had multiple interviews/acceptances last year in the fall but didn't hear from Tufts until the end of November and had an early Jan interview. It sucks to play the waiting game, but its just how it goes.

You should all definitely go to Tufts if given the chance. It's seriously the best school out there! I love everything about it!
 
I was calling them all morning and finally got through. They filled the 19th and 20th dates in less than 2 hours. I'm scheduled for the 26th. I don't know how many they interview each day, but wow that was fast. I was hoping to get the 19th!

The next round of invites look to be post December. However, I'm not sure the whole pre and post December thing matters with Tufts anyway. They say their entire process is rolling admissions.

aren't we the second batch? they emailed people on tues 10/9 and had earlier dates available to them, such as nov 13
 
I am a 3rd batcher, and I still haven't heard back from Tufts. Does it mean that I am "rejected" because tufts uses rolling admission???

fml me too. 3rd batcher. nothin here. i called them today, lady who picked up told me to email with a letter of intent bc i was badgering her. ha ha ha. I'm gonna pretend my letter will make any difference at all. poo.
 
Did you guys receive an application complete email after you sent in your fee? I'm just wondering if I should have received that and if I should called to make sure.

I hope to be wrong but I guess 1st, 2nd, and 3rd batchers who did not receive an invitation are essentially "rejected" 🙁🙁🙁

i dunno. probably not. but i had important things to say in mine, ie things im doing this semester /dental related activities that arent listed on my app etc. and i dont necessarily think ppl who were in 1, 2 and 3 batches who didnt recieve interviews yet are rejected necessarily. i think there is continual review and im sure some of us still have a chance. so i wouldnt get too worried if i were u. u may still hear from them. sdn is overkill. dont listen to ppl on here, call schools directly and hear it from them.
also lets just rmbr that tufts JUST started handing out interviews, like TWO weeks ago. hang in there.

I only got one email from Tufts, saying my application was received. Nothing after that. But on aadsas it says under review.
 
Im crossing my fingers for Tufts! One of my top choice schools! Congrats to you all who have gotten interviews! Im jealoussssssss haha.

The dates available for me were nov 29th 30th, dec 3rd and 4th. It's cutting pretty close to pre-dec at this point. Though I'm not sure if pre-dec deadline apply to Tufts since they started the interview process so late compare to other schools.

do you mind posting or pm-ing me when your application was complete/gpa/dat? I just wanna have an idea about the stats of people who already got an interview..
