Can you believe it? Rejected by UCSF, so I sent in an appeal letter. Then yesterday, guess what I got in the mail. A SECONDARY!! I was astounded. Guess I'm back in the game. Anyone have any advice on how to handle it from here?

What'd you write in your appeal letter? Stuff about your accomplishments? This is very interesting, I want to know how to best do this if I am denied interviews, can you PM me or post here some tips on doing this or if you feel comfortable letting me see the actual letter that would be heplful as well. Whoa! Cool! I am in the middle of writing my appeal as well... A lot of people on SDN have said to go for it, and now you are living proof that it can work.

Does USCF still have this policy? Sounds crazy... every pre-interview rejection can appeal? That seems like a huge pain in the ass for the admissions office
