Its December 14, are NY schools still giving out interviews or is it over?

Hey

I've had 5 interviews, 1 WL, 1 decision deferred and 2 have yet to notify me either way...the other was a rejection

still haven't heard from any NY schools, either state or private...anyone know if downstate is down handing out interviews? What about upstate? Albany? Rochester? NYU? Columbia? Einstein? MSSM?

Ugh I want instate public school so bad!

I applied last year and got some NYC interview invites after Dec 14.

I'm also still waiting on Cornell and NYU... though I must admit I've pretty much given up hope on schools I haven't heard from by now.

i was invited to a downstate interview on dec 16th a couple yrs ago so there's still hope but odds are probably slim, especially if your application was complete really early

Cornell - still inviting a decent amount
NYU - very few invites left.
AECOM - lot of invites still left, but are scheduled far in advance
Downstate - still inviting some, I think
Mount Sinai, a few invites left but later interviewees have lower shot
Rochester - No clue
Buffalo - still inviting, later interviewees have same shot as early interviewees
Upstate - not sure, I'd guess they still are inviting
Stony Brook - this school is very mysterious, but probably still inviting

So basically most schools are still inviting.

I got an interview invite on December 28th from NYU two years ago; they finish interviewing at the end of January.

...I was waitlisted, but it was a shot!

I am from NY, applied to all 4 SUNYs and 4 other privates in the state, was complete June 1st, and I haven't heard a peep from any of them, other than a hold at SUNY Upstate. I figured a 3.5/32 would get me a shot at at least one of those schools, having applied so early, but i guess it's a truly competitive year. Still have some marginal hope, but I imagine that 80+% of interivews have been given out, so at this point I'm really just hoping to get off the 1 waitlist OOS that I have.

Columbia hasn't even finished processing the last applications (~500) that were submitted on the last day of secondaries. There are many more interviews to be had.

I got one a couple days ago from Hofstra so no...They're not done sending invites.
