It's done. What now?

I am so exhausted.. after I finish this paper I'm working on and go to class, I am done until Monday. I need to TRY to calm down a little and get some rest! I turned in VMCAS on Wednesday night and I still haven't had a good night's sleep. 🙁

Yup. Need to take a Marketing quiz and write a paper on the evil's of Wal-Mart but right now, I'm just chillaxing and watching the Colbert report from last night on DVR.

I agree - I'm totally drained after putting so much into the app. process!
Does anyone know when we will hear about interviews or anything? Keeping focused on the next step in the process helps me stay focused 🙂

Every school is different, but I think they generally call you about interviews in early February. CSU notifies you of your acceptance/rejection by the end of December.

I am getting so intoxicated tonight after I turn in these last few things at the UCD Dean's Office.

Then I will work on the Cornell supplemental next week. 🙁

And the Penn VMSTP after that. 🙁 🙁

OSU informed me about interviews last year around Thanksgiving. It could be earlier this year because they had to supplemental come in earlier, but I'm not betting on it.

Someone posted this in one of the other topics-- it's when people interviewed last year: http://forums.studentdoctor.net/showthread.php?t=580203&highlight=interview+role+call

What about schools that don't interview? I know I got waitlisted at MSU on March 19th last year (thanks, gchat) but I applied to Wisconsin and have no idea what their time line is.. it seems like they did February last year?

Yes, I'm putting off school work for now. I can only force myself to run a few errands today. And I'm going to relax by playing Fat Princess, my current video game addiction.😀

Ohio is generally among the first schools to start calling about interviews (November). From there, there's a steady stream of this-and-that through December, quite a few in January and early February (and some people getting acceptances/no thanks by that point too!) and then things trickle down from there. Tennessee and Tuskegee are notoriously the last to let people know if they're in or not. Then, the off-the-waitlist action starts to happen. So it stays pretty busy in here starting in about a month and a half! 🙂

I have been having a really difficult time concentrating on school work. I think it partially has to do with senioritis and partially has to do with being so nervous about getting into vet school that I don't really want to do anything. 😳 I just can't wait to see people start getting interview invites and acceptances...all of our hard work will have finally paid off! I won't find anything out until mid-January (WICHE does not get to interview. 🙁). Good Luck to everyone!!!:luck: Let the roller coaster ride begin!

I remember feeling so impatient after applying last year. I spent so much time concentrating on getting my application ready that it felt like a huge letdown to be done with it and have nothing to do but twiddle my thumbs and wait to hear something back! I convinced myself that I was never going to hear back, so that by January 8th when I got my interview invitation it was a complete shock. The best advice I can offer is to try to pretend you just imagined that whole application process. Never happened 🙂
